In Commedia della Basque , Iman combines all her talents to create something entirely new for the stage. The whimsical adventure begins when she leaves her Basque homeland, where Lizarazus have lived in the same castle for 800 years, and travels across America, a wide-eyed outsider on a fools journey through modern life. En route, she encounters every-man and co-star, Frank Widman. It is Basque meets west. Old Europe meets Joe Camel. Traditional theater meets Commedia della Basque, a blend of circus arts, word-play, pratfalls and classic comic timing to keep the audience off balance, laughing, and just a bit uneasy.
